Kick Start is a program developed by Christians Against Poverty (CAP) to respond to the needs that exist in communities all over UK as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is offerred free by SHCC, in collaboration with CAP.

Covering areas such as job searching and living well on a budget, Kick Start also acknowledges the emotional impact of what we’re all living through. With that in mind, sessions on dealing with worry and coping with loss also feature. It is designed to give a solid base on which people can then rebuild the areas of their lives that need attention.

Some aspects covered (in bite-size) are as follows:
> Life after lockdown
> Taking control of your money
> Finding work and landing the ideal role
> Looking after your mental health and wellbeing

This program will be delivered through online webinars, over 4 x Saturdays during Sep-Oct 2020. Sessions typically last around 90 mins. Please register your interest using the following link.
